i'm julie. i collect nostalgia for a living.

i went to film school in southern california, where i fell completely in love with what a moving image can do to a feeling. i won awards for my short films, then years later life took me into wedding photography, which turned out to be amazing. now i get to do both! i shoot digital, 35mm and 120mm, and authentic super 8 film, and bringing all three as options for my clients to a wedding day feels like coming full circle in my life.

it's a motion picture film format, the same family of film used for home movies decades ago, shot on an analog camera and processed like traditional film rather than recorded digitally. this is AUTHENTIC film, not a digital impersonator.
yes, it's most often booked as an add-on alongside digital and film photography or a full video package as we offer it all! but you can also hire julie for a stand alone super 8 services for full day wedding coverage.
yes, it works especially well for smaller, more intimate days.
